The Monomaniacal Middle Grade Reviewer Discusses Monkey Island
Teachers, listen to this, and explain to him why the education system puts kids through stuff like this.
I know when I was young, I didn’t like to read because everything handed to me in school was uninteresting to me. I’m SO GLAD my dad purchased a Fantasy novel for me on a whim one day!
Okay, any teachers out there?
Care to chime in on what he says?
Anyone else have an opinion?

There is nothing like an honest review: not interesting and takes a week to read huh? Pretty bad.
Yeah he pretty much tells it as it is.
I haven’t read Monkey Island and from what MMGR said, I doubt I ever will! I agree with John the Aussie, though. Hatchet by Gary Paulson is highly recommended, but I really like books where kids have to use survival skills.
I’ll recommend it to him.
Wait, we aren;t talking Monkey Island by Thom Weekley are we???
Sorry about that! It’s Paula Fox.
Good, don’t let ya son read Thom Weekley… Ever…
Ha! Okay, I’ll remember that

I really recomend Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, for ya Monomaniacal Middle Grade Reviewer…
