Magellan Talbot is a commoner who’s been the High Princess’s best friend since they’ve been eight year’s old, which isn’t a problem for her older brother until she decides she wants to marry him. Infuriated, the High Prince plots to kill Magellan, but he can’t seem to accomplish this task, because Magellan is secretly under the protection of their Goddess.
Magellan is a factotum, a being infused with the power of the Great Goddess. She will use him to fight the darkness seeping into her galaxy. His victory is certain, as long as Harris, a prince from a neighboring world, stands at his side.
For the first time in history, though, the factotum denies her power. He turns from her, and erases his memory… forgetting who he is, and all the power he holds; and the prince, crucial to the future of her galaxy, begins to slip towards darkness.
Now for the first time, the Goddess faces battle with a defenseless champion, a weapon slipping into the dark, and the threat of a vengeful mortal, bent on killing her factotum.
