I just had one of those Oh My Gosh moments.
You know what I mean? When you realize that you unintentionally did something right, and BOOM! What you needed just slipped right into your freaking lap!

I don’t really want to jinx myself and bubble over the details before it’s confirmed… but let me tell you a few things that just became a huge slap in the face about simple truths people have been telling me, that I only kind-of believed.
1. Make contacts anywhere and everywhere.
2. You never know who you might meet.
3. Be yourself, and be nice to people. Make friends.
4. You never know when a simple innocent conversation may end up leading to the biggest opportunity of you life.
Yes, God… I’m listening. I am NOT letting this slip through my fingers.
Holy stinking cow.
Take away for today, guys… Meet as many people as you can. You never know when someone just might turn into the RIGHT ONE.

I realized that you’re never more than one or two people away from meeting someone that will have a positive effect on your life, be it a potential employer, a potential customer, or a potential friend. And in the same way, you’re never a person or two away from being a positive influence on someone else’s life. Even if you aren’t comfortable talking to strangers. Good luck, whatever it is.

Believe me– the thought of just walking up and talking to someone makes me want to run for the hills. But everyone makes friends somehow or another. It is in those friendships that wonderful opportunities may develop. My self-emposed killer schedule has now become doubly lethal to prepare.
