Whew! It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here.
For years I have been landing covetously on other people’s web sites. Boy were they pretty. “Someday I’ll have to get me one of those,” I said.
Not that there’s anything wrong with my blog. This little baby has done double-duty for a few years now, and it’s done me well. (Except for that Little Blue Lady problem, but I’ve learned to live with that.)
Don’t worry, I’m not abandoning this blog. It’s way too much fun. But now I have a place for standard web-sitey stuff… a place for readers to go to learn a little more about me (Without scaring them with my rants about writing) 🙂
So do me a favor and hop on over and let me know what you think. I’d love for people to look at it on different computer monitors, and on their phones.
Click around and make sure everything works well, and then let me know what you think.
You can get there by clicking the “Click to Visit” button in my navigation bar on the top far-right hand side of the screen right below my picture.
Thanks!
It’s beautiful, Jennifer. Congratulations! 🙂
Beautiful website!!
It’s lovely, Jennifer, congratulations … and congrats on your following as well! 🙂 xoxox
It looks great on both my PC running Windows 7 with Firefox and on my Galaxy S4 with the mobile settings. 🙂
Awesome! Thanks for taking a look!
Looks great!!! I’ve been toying around with the idea of creating one too . . . I’m still in the “maybe someday I’ll have something pretty” stage 🙂
Make it a present to yourself when your next book gets published. 🙂
Bravo! … SHINY 😀 …. but no fishies 😦
Hmmm. DO you think it needs fishies? But my fishies like it here.
If you have XX fishes and YY fishies then soon, you’ll have enough fishies for here and there …. and fishies aren’t really a ‘need’, they’re more of a ‘hehehehe’.
Ya gotta love the fishies.
Looks great to me on my iPad!
Thanks Suzie!
I love the background! Great new site. I clicked on everything & it all works. Good job.
Thanks for checking Mandy!
The new site is lovely. I like the look and crisp, no-nonsense feel of the design and professional presence.
I’m using Windows 7 and IE10. Everything works fine. Good for you for knowing HTML to do the background work.
;-D
Thank you Ma’am
;-D
It seems to work smoothly in Firefox under Windows 7.
Awesome. Thanks, Dave
Looks great. I have a Mac computer, and it all looks lovely and works well on there, on a Safari browser. I also looked at it on my phone, the mobile version is very simple and clear, none of the html or pics come through (apart from author pic of you), but obviously the mobile version is meant to be scaled down. I then switched to the web version on my phone, and that all rendered well, but then my phone is a Nokia Lumia 920 which has quite a big screen and a big memory, so I don’t need to look at scaled down versions of websites on there. So yes, for me it worked well in whatever way I looked at it!
Wow! Thanks for checking from so many angles!
I admire you for knowing all that HTML stuff and creating such a lovely website as well as your unique blog site. 🙂
Awe, thanks so much. I’m not really an expert in HTML at all. I can’t really write code, but I can manipulate it a little bit.
Looks fantastic! Did you set it all up yourself? If so, I’m impressed!
It was actually really easy. I’d have done it long ago if I realized it wouldn’t take months of planning. But I do have some general knowledge of HTML mostly from making this blog look the way I want, so that helped a smidge.
Eek, HTML. Haven’t yet figured that out myself. 🙂
I’m certainly not GREAT at HTML. I just understand a little of it. Actually to build this site I didn’t need it, but understanding how it worked in t he background helped me to be able to tweak it in ways I couldn’t if I didn’t know anything at all. Honestly, this was really easy to do.
